Gampel Pavilion will host an NCAA basketball game on Monday between the New Hampshire Wildcats and the UConn Huskies. After defeating Fairfield on Friday, New Hampshire now stands at 4-2 for the season. UConn’s most recent triumph against Manhattan brought them to 6-0 overall.

Tristen Newton recorded a triple-double as well including 15 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds. In terms of points per match given up, the Huskies are placed 15th in collegiate basketball with 60.
This year, the Wildcats started the season with a 2-2 record, winning against Curry and Brown between the defeats by Syracuse as well as George Washington. Tuesday, New Hampshire defeated Marist in a tough game, 74–71. Sporting 30 boards and 12 assists, the Wildcats fired a solid 48% from the floor in their victory over the Foxes. In their most recent game, New Hampshire defeated Fairfield by a close margin of 3 points once more. At the half, the Wildcats led 37-35 and maintained their lead to win 83-80. Naim Miller led all scorers with twenty points alongside a single board. With 13 rebounds and 19 points was a double-double for Clarence Daniels. The Wildcats force 13 turnovers and induce 16.2 personal fouls per contest while they are playing defense. With 73 assists given up to opponents so far this season, they come in 185th in D-1.
