However, the Terrapins’ running strategy is less successful; with just 108.9 yards per game, it ranks 117th. Maryland has had a respectable defensive record, giving up 23.3 points per game. Their pass defense has been especially strong, limiting rivals to 207.3 yards per game via the air, so they’ll be looking to give the Tigers a hard time.
