The New England Patriots head west to take on the Las Vegas Raiders, who are fresh off a historic victory, in an effort to shake off what has been one of their most devastating defeats in recent memory.

He might start spending all of his time on the sidelines if he produces another poor performance when facing the Raiders. For the previous Alabama quarterback, it might be now or never. Christian Gonzalez, a rookie cornerback, owns the defense’s only interception of the season but is currently on injured reserve with an injury to his shoulder and may miss the rest of the campaign. Their offense has been among the least effective in the NFL this season, averaging only 4.4 yards per snap while finishing at the bottom in EPA/play as well as 28th in yards per play. The good news is that their defense is still effective, with a fifth-place opponent yards per play plus a 13th-place opponent EPA/play ranking.
On the other hand, Davante Adams played his previous team for the first time when the Raiders defeated the Green Bay Packers 17-13 on Monday Night. Since 1987, they have not defeated the Packers. Jimmy Garoppolo, the new quarterback for Las Vegas who was previously in the concussion protocol this year, has had trouble getting into his stride. But last week, its defense, led by Maxx Crosby, made an impression for themselves with a trio of interceptions. The Raiders’ pass rusher now holds the NFL lead in quarterback pressures with 8 tackles for a loss and 5 sacks. He is one of the top defenders in the NFL, and has a chance to earn Defensive Player of the Year this year if he maintains his current level of play.
