In Week 17, the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-7) take on the Carolina Panthers (2-13) in a close contest for the AFC South championship at EverBank Stadium on December 31.

As for the Jaguars, they were comfortably ahead 8-3 earlier in the season. But since then, Jacksonville has lost to the Browns, Bucs, Bengals, and Ravens. The Jaguars are scoring 22.1 points per game on average, with 20 passing touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Jacksonville’s rush has produced 15 touchdowns and 93.9 yards per contest. When the Jaguars faced Tampa Bay in their last game, they were behind 20-0 in the locker room. From then on, Jacksonville improved a little bit, but they still lost badly, 30-12. Trevor Lawrence led the rush with 29 yards and completed the pass play with 211 yards, one touchdown, and 2 interceptions. Evan Ingram led the receivers with 10 receptions for 95 yards. In terms of aiding the opposition, the Jacksonville offense ranks 27th in the league with 589 yards of penalties on 76 infractions. They have managed to accumulate 178 first downs and have lost 16 fumbles while throwing 12 interceptions.
