Unai Emery’s team has been receiving praise lately. They were last seen turning on a thunderous display as they easily defeated Luton 3-1 at home. The former Arsenal manager says that the team’s spirits are at an all-time high and that they intend to mount a true Champions League challenge this time around. Emery’s team, who began this weekend’s games one point outside of the top 4, has amassed 16 points from the last 6 matches in all competitions. Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia, who are both currently recovering from long-term knee problems, will not accompany Aston Villa when they visit the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.
