Meanwhile, they haven’t started a league season with six wins in a row since the 2015-16 Championship campaign.
The Villa have a great record against the Seagulls, having won the last four meetings between the two teams and scored twice in each victory. Three of Brighton’s four Premier League road games against the West Midlands club have ended in defeat.
