Ivan Jurić’s men didn’t have the best start of the season as they were hovering around 15th place but they eventually managed to climb up to the 9th place on matchday 21. Now they are looking to bounce back into a higher spot.
In December we saw these two teams play against each other and the result was a 2-2 draw. Unlike Torino, Empoli hasn’t managed to climb back up the ladder, they reached 8th place in the middle of the season but now have fallen down to 14th. It’s going to be interesting to see if Empoli can manage to secure a couple more victories in these last weeks of the season.
