There were plenty of defensive miscues from Augsburg in that tie, but there were also encouraging hints of the offensive quality that had been lacking in the whole 2022-23 campaign.

Interestingly, the home team has won each of the last five meetings between these two teams, with Bayern taking three of the triumphs and Augsburg taking two.
On Sunday, Bayern will play in front of their home fans for the first time this season, and they will be expected to put on a show. The Bavarian giants should win all three points, and in his debut for his new team, Kane should score at least once.
