When Atletico Madrid resumes their La Liga season on Saturday evening at home against Mallorca, they will be looking to secure three victories in a row across all competitions.

During the Champions League, Atletico defeated Celtic 6 goals in a row after suffering an unexpected 2-1 loss to Las Palmas within La Liga at the beginning of November. Prior to the international break, Atletico defeated Villarreal 3-1 within the league competition. Following his hobbling exit from Argentina’s 2-0 defeat to Uruguay, Rodrigo de Paul is a serious doubt, and Memphis Depay, Thomas Lemar, and Reinildo Mandava are still in the recovery room.
