Henry Davis then drove in two more in the third inning to extend the Pirates’ lead to 5-0. When Garrett Stubbs hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning, the Pirates led 5-1. Finally, Jack Suwinksi made it 6-4 with a triple to deep right-center field.
In the fifth inning, Edmundo Sosa hit a home run to deep left field, bringing the Phillies within six runs of the Dodgers. The score was 6-6 before Cristian Pache hit a single to left center to break the stalemate. In the seventh inning, the Phillies won 7-6 on a home run by Bryce Harper to deep center field.
The Phillies have secured a postseason berth despite leaving Tuesday’s game early. They will finish the regular season with four more games while they wait for their playoff opponent. A three-game set against the Diamondbacks, Cubs, Marlins, or Reds is in the cards for the Phillies.

The Phillies, on the other hand, have ensured themselves the fourth spot with a record of 89-69, and will begin the wild-card weekend against the fifth-place team. The Phillies have a 3-2 series edge over the Pirates this year.
