Group D
In this group, competition comes from Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, and Angola. Algeria, the 2019 AFCON champions, appear to have no trouble winning the top spot. Houssem Aouar and Amine Gouiri, who have both switched from French nationality, will join the Fennec Foxes for the competition.
Group E
With Bafana Bafana of South Africa playing against Mali, Tunisia, and Namibia in Group E of the AFCON 2023 Group Stage, it promises to be one of the most competitive matchups. Both Mali and Tunisia appear to be the stronger teams in the group on paper, with Mali being in excellent condition prior to the competition.
Group F
Tanzania, Zambia, Morocco, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo will face off in Group F. Three past winners of the competition are also competing in this group. Morocco, who advanced to the 2022 World Cup semi final in Qatar a year ago, is one of the competition’s favorites in Group F.
