During their current winning run, the Cavs have won a number of blowouts, the most notable of which being a 135-95 triumph against the Bucks. This could turn out to be another defensive struggle along the lines of Orlando’s matchup with the Heat. Only 3 teams, including Cleveland, have an adjusted defensive rating higher than the Magic’s. The Cavs’ defense allows just 110.0 points per game on average, which is 2nd-best in the NBA. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ roster is riddled with injuries, so they are depending on defense to get them through. Despite being without Darius Garland and Evan Mobley for several weeks, they have emerged as the NBA’s hottest squad.
