Hawks Analysis: Coming off a more than 20 point loss
As the Hawks learned the hard way in their last game, it’s difficult to win when your 3-point shooting is 16.8% poorer than the opposition’s. They were humiliated by the Charlotte Hornets, losing 122–99. Unfortunately, the Hawks’ poor performance against the Hornets is continuing as they have now dropped 4 straight games. Together, Trae Young and Dejounte Murray shot just 9 of 27 in the loss, indicating their struggles. But Atlanta has 8 players averaging double figures, so they are deep. Clint Capela (11.5 points, 10.6 rebounds), one of those players, will make his comeback on Friday after sitting out the final six games prior to the All-Star break.
