On field goal percentage with 50.0 vs. 41.9, 3-point percentage having 29.7 vs. 17.2%, and rebounding with 51 vs. 42, the Hornets prevailed over them.
The Hawks didn’t make any particularly significant off-season additions, despite being rather busy. They acquired Patty Mills through a trade from the Thunder and selected Michigan native Kobe Bufkin with their first-round selection choice.
