Milwaukee defeated UC Davis 81-79 on the road, improving their record to 4-6. In order to end a three-game losing streak, the Panthers prevailed narrowly on the road, and they’ll want to capitalize on that performance when they play the Lancers. Erik Pratt, a junior guard, has emerged as Milwaukee’s second-leading scorer with 35 points in the last two matches for an average of 8.6 point per match. In the in-state defeat to Green Bay, third-year guard Markeith Browning II scored a season-high 25 points, raising his average to 8.3 points per game.

 

Longwood defeated Gallaudet 92-61 at home to improve to 10-1. The Lancers are looking to win an 11th consecutive game away from home after a dominant victory against Delaware State. LU permits 60.4 points per match while scoring 80.9 points on 47.6% shooting per contest. With a 10-1 record, Longwood leads the Big South, while Charleston Southern has a 3-5 record, placing it at the bottom. With an average of 75.7 possessions per contest (151st), Longwood plays at a good tempo. They’ve also had some success from outside the area, hitting 33.8% from three ranking 169th. In the victory over DSU, seasoned guard Walyn Napper scored a game-high 19 points, leading Longwood in both scoring with 13.6 points and 4.4 assists per game.In the victory over Lamar, former McNeese State guard Johnathan Massie scored a season-high 20 points. With 12.2 points per game, he is second on the team. Michael Christmas, a native of Virginia Beach, has led the Lancers in rebounds with 7.9 and points with 11.5 points per match while playing consistently on the glass.
