The Hurricanes’ recent struggles aren’t at all related to the defense.
With a 9-0 record, the Florida State Seminoles are still unbeaten as they prepare for this week’s matchup with Miami. They triumphed 24-7 over Pittsburgh in their latest match. The Seminoles completed their game against Pittsburgh with 37 pass attempts, 363 yards, and one touchdown. They scored a pair of touchdowns on the ground while averaging 3.7 yards per rush in the running game. Jordan Travis, the team’s quarterback, accomplished 360 passing yards in their last victory over Pittsburgh. He rushed for a touchdown in addition to throwing for one. Florida State has excellent secondary defense. But this season, the running defense has given up almost 4 yards per carry. The Seminoles have a strong pass rush and are formidable defending the run.
