The Beavers should contend for a spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game and an additional 10-win campaign if Oregon State’s defense even gets near duplicating its output from one season ago. In either case, Smith ought to get the Beavers into a bowl match for a 3rd straight year, which would be a first for the school since 2006–09.
