On November 25, at SHI Stadium, the University of Maryland (6-5) football team will make the trip to Rutgers (6-5) to play the Scarlet Knights.
The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Terrapins 31–24 in their most recent encounter. He needs 268 yards going into the game to surpass Curtis Painter (11,163), the former Purdue player who played from 2005 to 2008, who is the Big Ten’s historic leader in passing.
After falling to the Penn State Nittany Lions 27–6, the Scarlet Knights are returning to action. Versus the Nittany Lions, quarterback Gavin Wimsatt recorded 130 passing yards on 10 of 16 passes with one interception and zero touchdowns for the Scarlet Knights. He got 31 yards on 17 carries. Junior RB Kyle Monangai scored 39 yards on 16 carries (averaging 2.4 yards per attempt) in the contest while on 6 targets, receiver Isaiah Washington hauled in 5 receptions for 55 yards. Rutgers held Ohio State to a low in the initial half of their most recent home match on November 4, but the Buckeyes eventually pulled away for a 35-16 victory. They have a respectable pass defense, surrendering just 159.1 passing yards per game, enough for 5th place in the country, and 297.5 overall yards per game, good for eleventh place.
