The SEC Championship game between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide is scheduled for this Saturday.

With just one team losing in front of them, Alabama ought to be ranked 8th in the updated CFB Playoff rankings. The Ohio State Buckeyes were that one team, falling against the Michigan Wolverines in a game decided by a single possession. On Selection Sunday, the Crimson Tide must defeat UGA in order to be discussed in relation to the playoffs. On Saturday, Beck only totaled 175 passing yards, but it was largely due to the Georgia Georgia running attack’s success when facing the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Prior to the Alabama game, the ground assault gained some momentum thanks to Kendall Milton’s 156 yards, which led a 262-yard effort.
