Predictions & Analysis: Colts vs Titans 12/03/2023

Game Preview

Game Preview

On December 3, the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) take on the Tennessee Titans (4-7) at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Colts enter the game having defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27–20 on November 26 in their last game. Quarterback Gardner Minshew finished that game against the Buccaneers with 251 yards on 24-of-41 passing (58.5%), one interception, and no touchdowns. In addition, he scored a rushing touchdown and gained six yards on three carries of the ball. With 15 carries for 61 yards per carry and 2 touchdowns, running back Jonathan Taylor gained 91 yards of total yardage. Because of Jonathan Taylor’s thumb injury, the Colts’ offense would have to go back to their depth in the backfield. On the offensive side of the ball with 784 yards and 3 touchdown catches, Michael Pittman Jr. is the top receiver, while on the other side there have been 12 interceptions and 36 quarterback sacks by the Indianapolis defense.

The Titans defeated the Carolina Panthers 17-10 the previous time out. Against the Panthers, Will Levis performed admirably for the Titans, going 18 of 28 passing for 185 yards with no scores and no interceptions. Running back Derrick Henry gained 76 yards and a pair of touchdowns on eighteen carries of the ball. After three catches, receiver DeAndre Hopkins had 49 yards via the air on five targets. The Tennessee offense isn’t particularly strong to be fair. In order to help his team win the game, Titans quarterback Will Levis must make enough plays in a low-scoring contest. With 739 yards and 6 touchdowns, Derrick Henry leads the rushers, while DeAndre Hopkins leads receivers with 699 yards and 4 touchdown catches. Regarding their defense they haven’t been as strong as the Colts as 3 passes have been intercepted and 29 quarterback sacks have been made by the Tennessee Titans defense.
