In addition to making 27 quarterback sacks, the Atlanta defense has also intercepted seven passes. Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier have recently accounted for 74 of the team’s 96 rushing yards. Still, the group has one of the league’s top rushing offenses, averaging 132.2 yards per game (6th in the NFL).
On the road in their last game, the Panthers suffered a 28-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints. QB Bryce Young, the first overall pick and leader in passing yards with 2,192 in 12 games, is still struggling with his team. Carolina amassed 303 yards of total offense while limiting New Orleans to 207 yards, but the Panthers made two costly mistakes, one of which resulted in a fumble that New Orleans recovered and returned eight yards for a touchdown. With 644 yards and 4 touchdowns, Chuba Hubbard leads the rushers, and Adam Thielen leads the receivers with 827 yards and 4 touchdown catches. Naturally, Carolina has strayed further from the path than its rival. A few weeks ago, the team let go of its head coach and 2 additional assistants.
