On the first day of the season, Chelsea Jurgen Klopp’s team to a stalemate at Stamford Bridge. However, Liverpool has won 8 of their next eleven league games, moving the Merseyside team into second position, only one point behind Manchester City. This will be a far tougher task for the Reds, though, since Liverpool hasn’t triumphed at the Etihad since 2018 across all competitions, dating back to the Premier League in 2015.
