Both teams are looking to get back on track after opening weekend losses in the Premier League when Nottingham Forest hosts Sheffield United at the City Ground on Friday night. The team coached by Steve Cooper lost 2-1 at Arsenal in the season opener, while Crystal Palace won 1-0 at Bramall Lane.

Cooper has stated his desire to add reinforcements to his roster before the transfer window shuts, but he will also be pleased with the club’s business to this point.
However, last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Bramall Lane demonstrated how badly new Premier League club Sheffield United needs to strengthen its roster. The previous time these two teams met, the Eagles dominated in South Yorkshire, with 24 shots to Sheff Utd’s one, and the game-winning goal scored by Odsonne Edouard with 49 minutes left in regulation.
Despite the importance of adding depth to the roster for the upcoming season after gaining promotion from the Championship, manager Paul Heckingbottom has seen two of his top players leave Bramall Lane this summer. Though they have added depth through the signings of Gustavo Hamer, Vini Souza, Auston Trusty, Benie Traore, Anis Slimane, and Yasser Larouci, there is a feeling that Sheff Utd has to make further additions before the transfer window closes.
