In fact, the Puglian team Lecce is currently ranked higher than Juventus in the top four of Serie A, and they have allowed only one goal all month long.
Despite suffering two losses against the Bianconeri last season, including a 2-1 setback in Turin as recently as May, new coach Roberto D’Aversa has led Lecce to an unprecedented 11 points through their first five league games.
The Giallorossi have played to draws against Monza and Fiorentina, and they have won matches against Lazio, Salernitana, and Genoa (the latter team succumbed to constant siege and lost 1-0 at Via del Mare on Friday).
