This weekend, Lecce will head to Monza in the north in an effort to maintain their perfect record. With two victories and a tie through their first three games, Roberto D’Aversa’s squad sits in fourth place in the league standings, while the Biancorossi have yet to find their footing.
Raffaele Palladino‘s squad has gotten off to a rough start this season, losing both of their first matches against Inter and Atalanta. A home win against Empoli has kept the worry at bay for the time being, but an away match against Lazio next weekend makes this weekend’s matchup all the more crucial.

The Montenegrin striker scored on his debut off the bench and again in his first start for the club, and he has kept up his strong play even throughout the club’s international break. Against Monza, the striker is heavily favored to score at any point.
Monza’s season has gotten off to a much less reliable start, with the Biancorossi either not scoring at all or preserving a clean sheet. The prolific Lecce team is coming to town, and this is not a good omen.
