Pereira Analysis: He’s hasn’t lost in 7 consecutive fights
With an 8-2 record in the UFC since 2019, Brazilian fighter Michel Pereira (30-11) has emerged as a fan favorite in the ranks of UFC fighters. He has won seven straight fights, the latest two of which he finished by submission and the other three by unanimous decision. While eliminating yet another formidable foe, he will be searching for a rating. Pereira has a reach of 73 inches and is 6’1″. Potieria Analysis: He’s a tall and strong fighter
Ihor Potieria (21-5) has a 2-3 record in the UFC since 2022 going into this fight. Since joining the main event, he has faced a succession of murderers; most recently, he defeated Robert Bryczek and Shogun Rua. He replaces Shara Magomedov in a match that was originally scheduled, giving three weeks’ notice before taking on Pereira. Ihor Potieira has a 75-inch reach and is 6’3″. Ihor Potieria has had to fight hard for every victory in the UFC thus far; nothing has come easily to him. In his most recent bout, he made it past the second round for the first time and experienced viewing the judges’ scorecards for the first time, against Robert Bryczek. He is a very talented striker who recklessly wears down his opponents.
