Dolidze may possess superior striking abilities; however, his recent struggles have shown signs of inconsistency that could make it challenging for him to keep pace against Imavov. Furthermore, his long layoff after losing to Vettori could impede his cardio going into this fight.
Imavov has shown significant strides since his last fight and is an increasingly formidable presence in his division. A superior wrestler than Dolidze, Imavov can control action on the ground for an edge in this bout. Additionally, Imavov boasts powerful strikes which he uses against Dolidze inside and can use kicks/punches while staying outside range; making this matchup very intriguing indeed and sure to provide some fireworks.
