Wednesday’s 2-0 DFB-Pokal away victory for Frankfurt was made possible by strikes from Ellyes Skhiri as well as Ansgar Knauff. But at this early point in the season, league form always takes precedence, and Frankfurt must start winning more games if they are to be placed in the top 6.
