The 28-year-old righty picked up his 10th win on Friday, when he allowed a single run on 4 hits and no walks over 7.2 innings against the San Diego Padres.
On the other side, the Chicago Cubs will be sending out Mark Leiter Jr, who is making his 4th start and 12th appearance overall this season. While his numbers aren’t looking that great with a 2-2 record, a 4.85 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP, we’ll have to see if he can keep the ball rolling for the Cubs.
Leiter will be throwing against Trea Turner, one of the most solid players the Dodgers have at the moment. In their last 20 games, Turner has been hitting .329 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs.
In this game, things are looking great for the Los Angeles Dodgers, though this is a 4-game series and we know that everything can happen. If we look at both teams’ records, it wouldn’t be too crazy to see the Dodgers snap the Cubs’ 4-series winning streak.
