With the Cardinals, Montgomery is 2-0 and has yet to allow a run in 11 innings. On Friday, Montgomery tossed 6 shutout innings with 8 strikeouts. On the other hand, the Rockies reply back with German Marques, who is making his 23rd start of the season. Marquez holds a 6-9 record with a 5.08 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP over 127.2 innings pitched while striking out 104.
