A great AL West matchup – pitching, at least – is scheduled for April 7 as the Los Angeles Angels play host to the Houston Astros. On the mound for the Astros will be Framber Valdez. All he has to go up against is the incredible Shohei Ohtani.

Valdez was 11-6 in 2021 and had a 3.14 ERA. Ohtani was 9-2 in 23 starts with 156 strikeouts in 130.1. And let’s not forget all the damage he does at the plate with a bat in his hands. The Angels also will have Anthony Rendon and Mike Trout in the lineup as they look to rebound from a rough 2021.
