The Milwaukee Brewers will host the Arizona Diamondbacks for the second game of their three-game series on Tuesday, June 20th at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Monday night’s game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers ended in a 9-1 triumph for the Diamondbacks thanks to a home run from Alek Thomas to mark his return to the majors during Arizona’s six-run opening inning versus the 2021 Cy Young Award winner.

For his seventh home start of the year, Colin Rea will take the field. Rea’s ERA at home this year is 4.40, which is marginally better than his overall ERA. Rea is recording the highest ERA split during the day, though, at 3.86. He has been able to achieve a greater K rate at home, striking out 31 hitters over 30 innings, but having a lower ERA at night.
Nobody anticipated Arizona to continue to dominate the NL West. After having an intense beginning to the month, they have somewhat chilled off. Last weekend, they recovered with a pair of victories in 3 games versus Cleveland after losing 3 games to the Phillies. In the series versus the Guardians, they scored 14 runs. In their past 10 matches they are currently 6-4.
Ryne Nelson will start away from home for the seventh time this year and for the fourth time in June. Nelson maintains a solid road ERA this year, registering a 3.09, yet in June, the number has increased to 5.02.
