This Monday, December 5, we will see a duel between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center at 19:00 ET. The Bucks are coming off a 105-96 win over Charlotte while the Magic will be looking to get back to winning ways after a 121-108 loss to Toronto. This will be the first time these teams will meet so far this season.
The Magic are coming off a crushing loss to Orlando, shooting a season-high 56% from the field. It was a tough game for them as they were without Wendell Carter Jr. due to a right foot injury and Jalen Suggs due to an ankle injury. Carter averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds per game while Suggs contributed 12 points and 5 assists.
Orlando’s offense is scoring 107 points per game on 47% shooting. The defense ranks 27th in adjusted defensive rating, allowing 114 points on 48% shooting. It has been quite noticeable that the presence of Carter and Suggs is of utmost importance to get the win, even though they have a promising young player, Banchero’s contributions have not been enough for the Magic to overcome a tough NBA season.
On the other hand, Milwaukee has won four of its last five games. The Bucks managed to win against the Hornets without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. It all fell in the hands of Bobby Portis who led the offense with 20 points accompanied by Jordan Nwora with 17 and Brook Lopez and Jevon Carter with another 14 each.
Although the Bucks are without Antetokounmpo, they still have plenty of talent that can get things done. On the other hand the Magic will come into this game without many of their star players, this will be a very tough game for Orlando.
