Earlier in the campaign, the Rockets had this problem, but they appeared to have solved it. On the other hand, the Pacers started the game 6-for-6 from 3-point range as well as going 11-for-22 from beyond the arc in the initial half, six days after the Hawks destroyed Houston from long range. The Pacers responded every time the Rockets were able to mount a rally with a 3-pointer, frequently an uncontested attempt from a skilled shooter.

Bradley Beal, who has played in a mere 6 games this season, is still sidelined for Phoenix. Jusuf Nurkic was also absent against the Mavericks. Aside from Beal, the injuries haven’t been particularly crippling; instead, they’ve been an ongoing irritation as the Suns struggle to assemble a lineup that can contend with the best players within the Western Conference.
