The Boston University Terriers and The Dartmouth Big Green lock horns on Tuesday for some college basketball action at Case Gym. Dartmouth is holding a 4-7 record this year after losing to Central CT State in their last outing. While the Boston U Terriers are carrying a 6-5 record and coming off a victory over Marist.
Dartmouth didn’t have the best start this season as they went 1-4, losing to Fordham, Bryant, Quinnipiac and Incarnate Word. The Big Green then managed to score a 3-3 stretch over the next six matches, losing to Grambling State, Vermont and Central CT State during that stretch.

The Big Green have scored just 102 points throughout their last two games. Despite that, Dartmouth has shown big offensive capabilities this season so far and they should be able to put up a good total here if they’re having a good day.
If we take a look at the Boston U side, they had a much better start to the season, goin 4-1 over their first five matches with a single loss to UConn earlier in November. But things started to go south for them as they went 2-4 in the six following games since, losing to SEMO, UC Davis, Milwaukee and Notre Dame.
In Saturday’s game against Marist, Boston U was holding a 31-28 advantage at halftime. They kept things rolling and scored 41 points throughout the second half, closing out the game with a 72-70 victory. Walter Whyte had a great performance in that match, scoring 25 points and 8 rebounds.
To close things off, the Terriers have proven to be a pretty good team throughout their last three outings, even if we consider their six-point defeat to Notre Dame. After some early-season issues with their offense, Boston U has kept a steady pace, scoring 68 or more in four straight games.
