When the Eastern Michigan Eagles (5-6) play the Buffalo Bulls (3-8) at UB Stadium on November 21st, they will attempt to qualify for the bowl game for the 3rd consecutive year and the 5th time since 2016.

With an average of 21.6 PPG, 186.3 passing yards, 130.9 rushing yards, and a 35.1% third-down conversion rate, Buffalo’s offense is compelling.
The Eastern Michigan Eagles defeated the Akron Zips 30-27 to barely advance to a 5-6 mark and maintain their hopes of making a bowl game. The Eagles have not scored over 23 points in regulation in any of their last 4 games, going 1-3 overall. With 10 seconds remaining in their last game, Eastern Michigan knotted the score at 17–14 and went on to secure the victory in double overtime. Throughout the game, the Eagles gave up 315 yards in total and let Akron convert 12 of 19 third downs. Samson Evans ran for 71 yards and 3 touchdowns on 15 rushes, while quarterback Austin Smith guided the way with 214 yards and a touchdown. Eastern Michigan, in contrast to Buffalo, enters this game fresh off a straight-up victory and looking to qualify for the postseason with a win.
