Game Preview

In college football’s Week 4 action on Saturday, Alabama, ranked outside the top 10 for the first time in 128 weeks, will face off against undefeated Ole Miss at home, signaling a possible changing of the guard in the SEC West this season.
The Crimson Tide beat the Bulls 17-3 in South Florida despite multiple quarterback concerns, while the Rebels defeated Georgia Tech 48-23 at home. This upcoming Saturday, Alabama will host Ole Miss in Tuscaloosa as a 7-point favorite.
Underdog status is necessary for Lane Kiffin and his team to upset Nick Saban, Kiffin’s old boss. However, after the world got to see three different quarterbacks in action, Alabama has a decision to make. Against USF, Tyler Buchner got the nod after Jalen Milroe’s 1-1 record in 2 starts. However, Ty Simpson was called in to help with the cleanup as well.
No. 13 Alabama is coming in with a 2-1 record and a lot of questions after a win over USF that didn’t provide many answers, especially at quarterback (where Jalen Milroe will start again this week) and on the offensive line (where they left a lot to be desired in pass protection).

Despite a relatively weak ground game (led not by star tailback Quinshon Judkins but quarterback Jaxson Dart and his 213 rushing yards) and an injury to leading wide receiver Tre Harris, No. 15 Lane Kiffin’s Rebels are 3-0 after scoring 100 points in the second half of games.
For the Alabama-Ole Miss game, Milroe could be able to make a comeback. The consequences of those choices, though, will be felt throughout the week. Ole Miss has no quarterback concerns for the Alabama game because Jaxson Dart led the team in passing yards and touchdowns last week. He accounted for 251 passing yards and a touchdown and 136 rushing yards and two scores.
