On Saturday, October 21st the 16th-ranked Duke Blue Devils will travel to face the 4th-ranked Florida State Seminoles for an Atlantic Coast Conference clash. This will be both squads’ 7th match of the campaign. The Blue Devils have a record of 5-1, with their lone defeat coming in Week 5 versus the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Seminoles, who are 6-0 and unbeaten, are attempting to return to the College Football Playoff for the initial occasion since 2014.
After overpowering in the game played following the bye week, No. 4 Florida State on the road in Tallahassee, Fla., will be Duke’s toughest challenge yet. Although the Blue Devils have performed admirably so far this campaign, they haven’t faced a team with the Seminoles’ caliber of quality, which presents a special challenge for the head coach Mike Elko’s group.
After a bye week, the Blue Devils defeated N.C. State 24-3 on Saturday. Duke has demonstrated a strong defense and a respectable running game averaging 198.5 yards per game. They have allowed 9.8 points per game, which is fourth-best in the country, and their 4.5 yards allowed per play places 11th in the country. It has held opponents to 14 points or fewer in each victory.

Due to its current 6-0 record and impressive victories over Clemson and LSU, Florida State are the current favorites to win the ACC. The club of head coach Mike Norvell has one of the most talented rosters in the country, with players on both sides of the field. The Seminoles are incredibly difficult to defeat since they score 42.2 points per game, which ranks 7th in the nation, and 18.3 points per game, which ranks 22nd in the country.
