The Chiefs had a 14-3 record and the AFC West title in 2022. Mahomes threw for 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns, earning him the NFL MVP award. They rely on a young defense that still has room to grow.

After losing most of their secondary to free agency, the Eagles are in good shape defensively after re-signing those players and selecting cornerbacks Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round. Their new offensive and defensive coordinators are the only things to worry about.
The additions of Stephon Gilmore and Brandin Cooks have put the Cowboys in excellent position to make the postseason. Given the uncertainty surrounding the 49ers and the probable regression from the Eagles, they represent reasonable value at +600 to win the NFC.
