Fans from the Denver Broncos and New York Jets are in dire need of a win this weekend. Unfortunately for one of these fanbases, only one of the teams will come out victorious as the New York Jets face the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. The head-to-head score between these two teams sits at 2-2 so the stage is set for breaking the stalemate during this 23/24 NFL season.
Although the Jets managed to take down the Bills on a 22-16 score to start the season, it’s all going downhill for them at the moment. The Cowboys made a number on them by beating them 30-10, the Patriots also took the dub over them a week after, and most recently the Jets were narrowly beaten by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at the MetLife Stadium.
The Broncos and Jets share the same 1-3 score coming into week 5 but with somewhat of a twist. Denver lost a heartbreaking opening game to the Las Vegas Raiders on a 16-17 score and then lost another narrow game against the Washington Commanders which ended on a 33-35 score. The Broncos have been losing but it’s been narrow losses that have come to be resolved in a 4th quarter play, except for their humiliating 70-20 defeat against the Dolphins in Week 3. Despite that loss, Denver was able to put on one of the greatest comebacks we’ve seen in recent years against the Chicago Bears last weekend. Chicago started the game with a 21-7 1st half but Denver managed to keep them at a single touchdown while scoring 24 points for themselves and closing the game 31-28. In this lower ranked AFC clash, bookies favor the Broncos, albeit not for that much, but it’s looking good for Denver.
