As for Denver, they played in three preseason games this year and won only once. Before beating the Rams 41-0 in a rout, the Broncos fell 18-17 to the Cardinals and 21-20 to the 49ers. Denver led the Raiders 13-10 at halftime of their season opener last Sunday.
However, the Broncos lost 17-16 after falling down 7-3 in the fourth quarter. Russell Wilson threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns on 27 completions out of 34 attempts in Week 1 for Denver. Both Samaje Perine and Adam Trautman caught four passes for over thirty yards, while Javonte Williams rushed for 52 yards on 13 carries.
