After defeating the Patriots 10–6 in Week 10, the Colts had a week off. Gardner Minshew, the quarterback, completed 18 of 28 passes for 194 yards and one interception and RB Jonathan Taylor rushed on 23 occasions for 69 yards and a touchdown, while WR Michael Pittman Jr. had 8 grabs for 84 yards. Their defense was outstanding; they forced 2 turnovers in the victory and gave up only six points on 340 yards of total offense. The Colts are also scoring less points per game this year on average than they are giving up with 24.2 points scored, they’re conceding 24.8 points per game. Indianapolis’s defensive unit may prove particularly challenging for Mayfield to handle because the Colts boast an opportunistic stopping group that is tied for 12th in the NFL in interceptions. Despite the ideas about the caliber of their previous two opponents, the Colts have gained significant momentum following those wins.
