For the last two seasons, the Eagles have relied heavily on their defensive performances in close games, so it is cause for some concern. It cost them a Super Bowl, and their defense’s inability to stop the 49ers will undoubtedly be a factor in their match versus the Cowboys.
The Cowboys’ victory over the Seahawks 41-35 brought their record to 9-3. They now have an opportunity to make up for their Week 8 setback and take a share of the top spot in the NFC East. To accomplish so, they’ll have to defeat the formidable Eagles squad. Having stated that, they will be at home this time after almost completing it while traveling. Dallas, like the Eagles, has to recover from their typically strong defense. This season, quarterback Prescott has been playing excellent football and has put himself in the running for MVP. The seasoned quarterback is throwing for 3,234 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions on 70.1% of his throws this season. Versus the Seahawks the previous week, Prescott completed 29 of 41 passes for 299 yards and 3 scores. In his last 3 games, Prescott passed for 9 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
