Fulham was blown out by Brentford at Craven Cottage after defeating Everton 1-0 on the road. The Bees were superior and won the game 3-0, annihilating their opponents.
The most significant issue was Fulham’s weak midfield, which was unable to keep up with the visitors. We think the Cottagers will need some time to adjust to their new normal without Mitro, the group’s spiritual leader.
That Fulham hasn’t beaten Arsenal in the last ten meetings is a particularly ominous trend for the Cottagers. The Gunners won both of last year’s matchups against the Cottagers, 2-1 at the Emirates and 0-3, respectively.
