The Toffees will be anxious for a home victory to kick off a season filled with great expectations. On the third matchday of the 2023/24 Premier League season, Everton will host Wolverhampton Wanderers, looking for their first home win of the season.

Wolves, on the other hand, may have finished last season timidly, but they quietly rebuilt over preseason and had a superb opening day performance at Old Trafford but still failed to win. Wolves were outstanding, and they deserved three points after their match against Manchester United.
Gary O’Neil’s squad will be hoping to pull off a major upset at Everton’s notoriously difficult Goodison Park, despite the fact that they have a dismal record on the road in the Premier League, having lost their last five straight road contests. However, Wolves might take heart from their 5–10 record versus Everton.
Under Dyche, Everton have become a cunningly effective unit, and their counter attacking prowess and domination from dead balls make them a terrifying proposition for evenly matched opponents. This seems like a normal Premier League matchup, with three crucial points on the line.
