Myktybek Orolbai will make his UFC debut against Uros Medic after being recruited on short notice to replace Jonny Parsons. Orolbai hails from LFA with both traditional kickboxing skills as well as submission grappling expertise. He trains alongside some of the top names in this division at Team Alpha Male and should prove an asset during this tournament.
Uros Medic (9-1) has a 3-1 record within the UFC after making an appearance on DWCS in 2021 going into this match. He has defeated both Omar Morales and Matthew Semelsberger, two dynamic strikers, in back-to-back victories. Originally scheduled to face Jonny Parsons, Parsons was forced to withdraw earlier this week. Medic will now take on a fighter making his debut who is trying to win his 4th bout out of five. Medic has a reach of 71 inches and stands 6’1″.
With less than one week’s notice, Myktybek Orolbai (11-1-1) is going to make his debut in the UFC in order to save this bout. Orolbai, who started out in regional mixed martial arts in Kyrgyzstan, is 3-0 and has two knockout victories while competing for the LFA promotion. He received training from Team Alpha Male and previously accompanied Viacheslav Borschev in sparring. Anticipate a thrilling UFC debut from him. Orolbai is 5’10” tall.
Uros Medic will need to modify his approach significantly to match Orolbai’s, as he was initially gearing up for a fight versus Jonny Parsons, a fighter entirely different from him. Nevertheless, Uros Medic needs to remain focused and not underestimate his opponent’s strength in this battle. As he looks for his finishing blow, defense will be crucial.
Medic has proven his worth on numerous occasions by pulling off hard fought wins when necessary and competing effectively within war zones. Additionally, he’s shown an ability to pick his shots strategically and focus on sticking to what works for him during a fight like this one.
