Early Prelims April 12, 2024

Game Preview

The first early film fight will have Deiveson Figueiredo face Cody Garbandt in the bantamweight division. Known by the moniker “the God of War,” Deiveson Figueiredo has competed in 26 professional mixed martial arts fights, winning 22 of them, losing only three, and drawing one. However, two of the losses and the draw occurred in his most recent bouts. Cody Garbrandt, 32, was born in Ohio and has so far recorded 14 wins and 5 losses. It seems like this battle is among the less even ones on the card.

Then Bobby Green will go up against Jim Miller as lightweights. With a lengthy professional MMA career that includes 31 wins, 15 losses, a draw, and one no contest, American fighter Bobby Green, 37, is entering UFC 300. Since going professional, Jim Miller has also experienced over 30 wins with 37 triumphs, 17 defeats, and a no contest.

In the women’s strawweights division Marina Rodriguez fights Jessica Andrade. Veteran combatant Jessica Andrade has a professional mixed martial arts record of 25 wins and 12 losses going into her matchup with Marina Rodriguez this coming weekend. Conversely, Rodriguez has 17 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws in his record. Jessica Andrade intends to turn this battle into a brawl since she has more power than Rodriguez.

The last fight of the early prelims features Jalin Turner versus Renato Moicano. Jalin Turner (14-7) was producing five consecutive ruthless finishes, unlocking that barrel of potential. However, Dan Hooker and Mateusz Gamrot, who prevailed in split votes, presented a barrier in 2023. Finishing out the matchup on the biggest card of the year is Renato Moicano (18-5-1). He has achieved two impressive victories after moving up to face Rafael dos Anjos (2022) at 160 pounds on short notice and taking a brutal five-round hammering.
