The Cowboys, on the other hand, had a 5-3 season to begin and a 7-2 run to end it. During that period, Dallas defeated the Giants, Panthers, Commanders (twice), Seahawks, Eagles, and Lions. In general, the Cowboys have performed admirably on both ends of the field, scoring 29.9 points on average and conceding just 18.5 points. The pass has resulted in 36 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and an average of 258.6 yards per game.
When the Cowboys faced the Commanders in the final week of this season, they had little issue matching up. In route to a 38-10 rout, Washington produced 14 points in each of the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Dak Prescott passed for 279 yards and four touchdowns while having one interception.
