Joshua Dobbs and the Arizona Cardinals play Matthew Stafford with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6, on October 15th, in a matchup of rival NFC West teams. Under first semester head coach Jonathan Gannon, the Cardinals lost their Week 5 matchup versus the Bengals and now stand at 1-4. Cooper Kupp’s come back to the field didn’t help the Rams, who were defeated by the Eagles. LA is currently 2-3 on the year.
The Cardinals’ season began with a pair of defeats, first over the Commanders 20-16 in Week 1 afterwards with the Giants 31-28 in Week 2. The following week, Arizona surprised everyone by defeating the Cowboys at home, but a 35-16 loss to the 49ers to start October saw them return to losing ways. The Cardinals were inside four points going into the fourth quarter of their game against the Bengals last Saturday. However, Arizona ultimately lost 34-20 after giving up 10 straight points from that point on. Josh Dobbs, the quarterback, recorded 166 yards, a pair of touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Marquise Brown also caught a touchdown pass for 61 yards on 4 catches.
The Rams had a 2-2 record in their first 4 games of the year. Los Angeles was defeated by the Bengals 19-16 and the 49ers 30-23. Between those contests, the team defeated the Seahawks 30-13 as well as the Colts 29-23 in OT. Kyren Williams of the Rams ran 25 times for 103 yards and two scores in the victory over Indianapolis.
The Rams lost to Philadelphia on Sunday by a score of 23-14 after trailing by 17-14 after three quarters. Williams gained 53 yards on just 13 attempts, while quarterback Matthew Stafford produced 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The most productive receiver overall was Cooper Kupp, who had 8 receptions for 118 yards
