Heisman Trophy Winner

In terms of individual awards, the Heisman Trophy may be more prestigious than the Most Valuable Player award given to professional teams. Being awarded the best player in college football, a sport that spans the entire country, is the stuff of legends. Although the honor is typically given to the quarterback, any offensive weapon or even a defensive player who has a significant impact that year could end up as a finalist.

Caleb Williams ( +550 )

As a sophomore in college and in his first year at USC, Williams dominated the sport. To earn the Heisman Trophy, he threw for 4,537 yards, 42 touchdowns, and only eight picks. He’s been compared to Patrick Mahomes and, barring a major upset, is almost assured of becoming the first choice in the draft next year.

Jayden Daniels ( +1200 )

In his junior year, Daniels developed into a top-tier passer and rusher. The 6-4, 210-pound senior led the Tigers to the SEC title game as the first player in FBS history to pass for more than 2,900 yards (2,913) and carry for more than 800 yards (885). After three years at Arizona State, his 11 rushing touchdowns that year were a career best.

Quinn Ewers ( +1200 )

A year ago, Quinn Ewers showed why he was the top recruit in the country by dominating Alabama. Then, in the first quarter, he took a hard knock that sidelined him for a while. After coming back, he threw for four touchdowns in a 49-0 thrashing of Oklahoma.

Jordan Travis ( +1400 )

Travis offered to switch to tailback or receiver to the new Florida State coaching staff three years ago. The Mike Norvell team said no. Their choice was a good one. Last season, Travis developed into a top-tier quarterback, leading his team to a national championship with 3,600+ yards of offense, 32+ touchdowns, and the seventh-best Total QBR in the country (85.8).
